Our house
Sara is artistic director of "Porto Petraio" in Naples.
Ex hall station of the Funicolare Centrale, one of the oldest cableways of Europe, Porto Petraio is like a harbour on the hill, hidden in a magical neighbourhood of the city, where from the stairways and small squares one has always a view on the beauty of the gulf of Naples.
Porto Petraio is a meeting place and a big “home” in which a collective artistic project comes alive, crossing tango, dance-theatre, swing, circus, popular dances and traditions, concerts and record production.

This is the place where weekly tango classes are held (Technique, Improvisation, Sensibility, Tango with role switching) and Tango-Theatre with Sara and Pino. And every sunday the milonga irRIVErente, alternative in music and atmosphere.

//INTERNATIONAL TANGO MEETING - exploration and research

the Festival
Co-organizer of the neapolitan edition of Festival TangoNeta!, started in 2005 by Gisela Navonit.
TangoNeta! is a time for meeting, sharing and exploring in the tango language.
During 5 days the work is based on a central theme, which every invited teacher interprets following his or her own vision and inspiration. The participants elaborate and practice following their own perception, curiosity and interest. Moments of study get alternated with moments of sharing, practice and dance in the milongas, enriched by performances and live music.

TN! is held every year in Cardona (Spain) and in Napels (Italy), in the past in Barcelona (Spain) and in Rosario (Argentina) and in other places to come…
